My name is Mark Heckey. I write from my life experiences and interests in nature, urban planning, and art. 

My influences include my family life - my wife and three children- and travel. 

Presently active in the California Writers Club of Sacramento, my short stories, poetry, and essays have appeared in newspapers and magazines.
